Further UK market investment by EMR with two new hires

Leading utility networks and mobile telecommunications supplier, EMR Integrated Solutions today announced continued UK market investment with the addition of two new hires to the team.  The appointments enhance the PMO and field-based engineering functions within the business.

Neil Beasant joins as programme manager.  An experienced MBA and PRINCE2 certified professional, Neil will be responsible for managing project delivery for EMR’s growing utility business in the UK.

Neil joins the team with more than 10 years’ experience having held senior project and implementation roles across insurance, utilities, automotive, IT and leisure sectors.  His early career was marked by project management roles with BT, HMRC, Barclays, Vodafone and Cable & Wireless.

Neil holds an MBA in project management and international business management and is HND certified in aeronautical engineering and design.

Sam Garrard joins the team as a field-based installation technician and will be responsible for the rollout and support of utility networks for some of EMR’s high profile UK clients.

Sam joins from CBRE where he worked as a multi-skilled maintenance electrician, primarily managing a number of branches for Waitrose and the John Lewis Partnership.  Prior to this, Sam worked as an electrician with Integrated Water Services where he was involved in the rollout of three phase and single phase installations as well as the maintenance of onsite equipment such as pumps and PLCs.

Sam’s early career involved a period of self-employment, as an electrical improver.

Sam is City and Guilds certified in Electrical Installations.

The new appointments come on the back of strong business growth for the EMR team in the UK.  Its utility networks business, particularly in the renewables sector has grown strongly in recent times and continues to drive revenues upwards.
